You read the title correctly… this is often the cry of many liberals in response to American gun rights. The key argument being that the more guns are on the street, then likewise, the more crime is obviouslly going to follow suit. Unfortunately for the left wingers, this is not a case they are ever going to win. It turns out that people do want and need concealable weapons, and no American is going to sit back and watch those rights be trampled over.In all the cases of self defense by using a firearm, concealed handguns where used 81% of the time by the defender. Likewise, approximately 70% of all types of violent crime is commited in a public location. This makes it extremely important to have the right to protect yourself and your family should an incident occur while away from home.
The biggest fact of all? It turns out that over seventeen registered concealed carry firearm owners from across the country excercise their rights as Americans, and over ten times as many believe in the right to keep and bear arms. Where do you stand on this fence?
